Florals, with their evening jacket on, ready for another chapter. Velvet Peony & Oud opens with softly sweet peony before deeper floral tones meet smoky oud. Smooth woods round out this warm, velvety fragrance, balancing delicate petals with a darker woody side.

Inspired by a classic perfume fragrance. Refill size: 220g. Burn time: 45+ hours when used according to the supplied candle-care instructions. Made in the UK. This is a candle refill, not a standalone candle. Use only with the compatible Phoenix Flames Signature Collection jar specified in the supplied refill instructions.

A lovely choice if you enjoy floral fragrances with smoky depth rather than bright citrus or crisp laundry notes. Give your compatible candle vessel another chapter with this pairing of petals and woods.

Once correctly fitted, try it in the living room with your favourite playlist, or on a clear dining-room surface for an evening in. Keep it well away from decorations and other flammable items.

Follow the supplied refill instructions for preparing the compatible vessel and fitting the refill. Do not burn without its intended container or use a damaged vessel.

First burn: allow the wax surface to melt to the edges of the container for a full surface melt pool. This does not mean melting all the wax. Never exceed the maximum burn duration in the supplied instructions. Follow the supplied care instructions for wick trimming, burn duration and when to stop using the candle.

Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, flammable items, children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish before leaving the room or sleeping. Keep the wax free from debris. Never move the candle while lit, and allow the candle and container to cool completely before handling.

Candle care

  • Trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn.
  • On the first burn, ensure that the wax melts completely to the edges of the container to avoid tunneling.
  • Keep the melt pool clear from debris.
  • After the first burn only burn for 3-4 hours at a time.
